Beef Stew

Nothing better on a cold day than a hearty beef stew.

Serves: 2

0.75 pound stew meat
1/4 cup all purpose
1 tsp pepper
1.5 tsp garlic
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire
2 cup beef broth (using 2 beef cubes to make)
5 carrots
1 potato
2 celery stalks
1/2 slowcookers beef stew packet
1/2 can of Rotel

Cut carrot, potato, celery.
Dissolve beef cubes in water.
Shake meat in flour, salt, pepper.
Put in meat, discard the flour mixture.
Add everything else.
High 4 Hours or Low 5-6 Hours. Stir before serving over rice.

    Do you add water for the beef stew packet? I just turned the crockpot on and it smells amazing already! Love your site and your Youtube channel!


    • Hey Jacqueline, I don’t add water. Just two cups of beef broth. I use it from a container now (and freeze the rest), because the flavor is more full-bodied this way. In a pinch, I’ll still use cubes dissolved in 2 cups of water and add that in instead.
