Coffee Smoothie

I make this recipe nearly every morning. It’s handed down from my mom, and I feel that my year as a smoothie artist as a teenager has finally paid off! lol I may not have the energy to whip up eggs, bacon, and pancakes in the morning, but I sure do have enough to crawl to the blender, load six ingredients in, and press two buttons! It is so incredibly easy to make, and it can be modified to personal taste. Takes just minutes.

Tools:
Vitamix
knife
Oxo 2-cup measuring cup
1/4 measuring cup
1 tablespoon measure

Ingredients:
1 large carrot (end cut off)
3 cups spinach (three small handfuls)
1.5 cups almond milk (Whole Foods original or homemade)
2 cups ice (important to measure!)
1 tsp sugar (1 Tablespoon, if using your homemade almond milk)
1/4 cup of Hills Bro’s Cappuccino Mix Vanilla (in red square container)

Directions:
Start blender on Level 1. Gradually increase to 8. Once at 8, run for 30 seconds. Serve with straws.

Makes 3 cups. Serves 2.
