1 pd stew meat
1 pd potato (1 big potato), dice bigger than normal
1 pd carrot, dice bigger than normal
2-3 celery (optional, lots of times I leave it out)
1/2 onion, quartered
1/2 box of Golden Curry Sauce Mix
1 cup water
1/2 T garlic salt
Salt and brown meat (just slightly, not all the way through). Drain.
Put all ingredients in Crock after coating it with olive oil.
Pour the water over all the ingredients.
Put on High for 4 hours. Taste. Add more salt if necessary.
Serve over brown rice.
Note: Do not allow curry pods to fall to the bottom because they will stick to Crock. Break them up a bit, as they are semi-quartered in packet. You can find curry pack on Amazon or in ethnic section of big grocery stores like Kroger. Curry in Hawaii has big chunks of carrot and potato, so chop them more rough than thin.
